Venue
The Southeastern Library Assessment Conference will be held at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center on the Georgia Tech campus in Midtown Atlanta.
Getting to the Conference
Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is approximately 13 miles from the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center and the conference hotel, the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. The Global Learning Center and the Georgia Tech Hotel are connected on the second floor.
GT Hotel/Global Learning Center Parking: $15 per day. Driving directions to the GT Hotel/Global Learning Center
MARTA (light rail): $2.50 one way with an additional Breeze ticket charge of $1
- From the airport: The MARTA Airport Station is located within the Domestic Terminal. Take the Red OR Gold Line (northbound) to the Midtown Station. Exit the station at Peachtree Place, and wait for the free Tech Trolley. Exit the trolley at 5th Street next to the GT Hotel/Global Learning Center.
- From other locations: Take the Red OR Gold Line to the Midtown Station. Exit the station at Peachtree Place, and wait for the free Tech Trolley. Exit at 5th Street next to the GT Hotel/Global Learning Center.
- If you prefer to walk from the station: Take the Red OR Gold Line to the North Avenue Station. Exit the station at West Peachtree Street. Walk north approximately four blocks. Turn left onto 5th Street and walk one block. Cross Spring Street.
Shared Shuttle Service: $18.50 per person, one way (Midtown zone). Providers are listed here. Ground Transportation is located at the west end of the Domestic Terminal.
Taxi Service: Approximately $32 one way (Midtown zone). Ground Transportation is located at the west end of the Domestic Terminal.
Accommodations
The conference hotel is the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, which is connected to the Global Learning Center.
UPDATE 9/23: The conference block at GTHCC has filled. We are working on alternate accommodations and will provide that information here. You may also contact GTHCC directly (800-706-2899) to check for last-minute openings.
